Hi again everyone,
Annie arrived at Rollag on Monday, August 29 and was around for Nursing Home Day on Tuesday, August 30. The Annie crew made plans for her activities during the show. We were lucky and they chose to come to the Red Brake on Friday after the afternoon parade.
Clyde and Rob pulled Annie up to the Red Brake right after they finished the parade. We got her belted up and spun the Brake a bit to be sure everything was lined up, then Annie got shut off until the parade ended. We hooked one of Jonathan H's tractors up to the PTO of the Red Brake so we could that as a starting engine for Annie.
After the parade finished, we waited a bit for the crowd to come over to the Brake. Rob was gracious enough to spend a few minutes telling the crowd about Annie and JUMP. When we finished talking, Jonathan used his tractor to start Annie. After Annie was running, the clutches on both tractors were released so we could remove the PTO shaft and Jonathan drove his tractor away.
Here are the results of the run we did.

It looks like Annie loosened up and was running better by the time she got to the show. The last two lines have about the same Hp. The 58.0 could likely be the maximum she could produce that day. If we would have tightened the Brake, we may have gotten higher torque values, but if the rpm continued to drop, Hp would have dropped, also.
It looks like JUMP has a good running, hard working tractor. What a treat to see her, hear her, test her and get to see her do other things.
Later,
Jerry Christiansen
