Breech was the only exec at Ford that voted against the Edsel. Henry Ford Jr won out and Ford lost millions. After that Breech started planning his retirement. Iacocca mistakenly said that Breech was put out to pasture. Breech remained close to the Ford family and was honored by the Ford family after retirement when Fords named one of their boats after him.
 
So, we've digressed from the original topic of the Christianson/Todahl Bridge to Nowhere, and moved on to Ford's Follies? :sorry2:
