I'm in favor of the annual Breakfast Club Meeting, prior to Spring Steamup. Many of you may recall that I challenge Ray Wangler to beat me to the venue of choice for the 6 am opening. I will drive, from Jamestown, and ALWAYS be there in plenty of time to look at my watch as Ray, and Co. come snoozing into the parking lot.
    So, where do we meet?

I think we need to DEMAND that Mark K join us.

1... I'm not even sure when it is!
2... I'm rarely up that early!

    Hi Monte,

I am in. Where shall we meet? Mom's Kitchen is on Main Avenue about a dozen blocks from Jim's shop. The internet says they open at 6:00am.

That works. Funny, we haven't heard from that Wangler fella, yet. I believe they do open at 6.

So far it looks like it will be you and me.

We better wear our rubber boots at Steam Up this year, I bet the parking lot will be a bit damp.

Oh, I thought there was another reason for the suggestion of the boots.

I'm not sure how many times I've won the 6 am contest with Monte (I want to say always, but it's probably closer to never) but I'll be glad to break bread with you on Saturday. It's always a good visit!

I can not imagine what you are talking about. Boots are plenty high for the mud.

Other factors may require chest high waders. . . . .

It's always been never. Since you're joining us, Jerry's suggestion of chest waders is well taken. Looking forward to it all!
