Roynell was a very nice guy and when he was in better shape he did a lot of behind the scenes projects on the grounds that many never realized (during the week when the weekend crowd went home. He did a lot of organizing in the "nail room" in the service building and he built all of the shelving in the plumbing room there too. I am pretty sure that he was the painter in the visitors shower house when it was built so many years ago. He paid a lot of attention to detail.
I had the opportunity to personally thank him when it became obvious he was slowing down considerably. Did the same thing with Leroy Neilson before he went on to his reward. We all need to pay attention to what some of these "lower profile" people get accomplished and be sure they know how much they are appreciated.
