    here is a list i've been compiling after conversing with the people involved for the areas listed.

    if i have left any one out or a new area wanting music, please send me a PM.

    WESTERN MINNESOTA STEAM THRESHERS REUNION

    MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM SCHEDULE


    All Musical Entertainment and Programs during the day and evening Free


    No selling of Groups or Individuals CD’s, tapes, etc., during the show.


    -DAILY EVENTS -


    MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT all day in Nelson Exhibition Hall, around the Show Grounds and beginning at 7PM in the Threshermen's Memorial Building (TMB).

    GOSPEL MUSIC all day in the Downer Church on Main Street.

    SQUARE DANCING Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening, Sunday afternoon and evening, and Monday afternoon north of the Nelson Hall.

    CHURCH SERVICES are held twice on the show grounds.
    Saturday Evening 9:00 PM Catholic Mass in Workers Eat Shack.
    Sunday Morning 9:00 AM Church worship service in Threshermen’s Memorial Building.



    -DAILY TIMES FOR SPECIFIC LOCATIONS -

    Nelson Exhibition Hall ( #63 on Map )

    For all Musicians….
    - 9:00 AM on Friday and Saturday, Musicians meeting for the show.
    - Sign-up to play for ½ hour time slots, first come first served no reservations or erasing of names already listed. Sign up sheet is posted by the dance floor or see Russ.
    - If people are coming on stage with you as a group to help play backup. No joining of individual ½ hour slots. Your group will only play for the ½ hour which you signed up for.
    - Follow the lights for instruction when your time slot ends. Yellow, two minutes before your time is up. Red, your time is up, stop playing. This makes it fair for everyone.

    For the General Public….
    - 9:30 AM till 11:00 PM Music is played Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
    - 10:00 AM till 2:00 PM Monday, Open stage for Musicians to entertain.


    Threshermen’s MemorialBuilding ( TMB ) ( #14 on Map )

    For all Musicians…
    - Open stage during the day for Musicians until an hour before the Style Show which starts at 3pm.
    - Sign-up for the evening program to play two songs, first come first served no reservations or erasing of
    names already listed. Sign up sheet is by the door, left of the stage or see Marlys.
    - Jam session at end of play-list.
    - If people are coming on stage with you as a group to help play backup. No joining of the two song time
    slots. (Ex: 6 people may not be on stage for a 12 song jam-session.)

    For the General Public…
    - Friday
    - 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM Style Show
    - 7:00 PM Music program starts
    - 8:00 PM Honorary Steam Queen Coronation
    - Continuation of the Music program

    - Saturday
    - 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM Style Show
    - (In case of RAIN, the Memorial Service will be held here instead of at the Case Eagle
    Memorial Wall 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM)
    - 7:00 PM Music program starts
    - 8:00 PM Steam Queen Coronation
    - Continuation of the Music program

    - Sunday
    - 9:00 AM Church worship service
    - 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM Style Show
    - 7:00 PM – Music program starts

    - Monday
    - No events held


    Print Shop ( #47 on Map )

    - Intermittent and Unscheduled.
    - Front Porch, east side of the building, along Main Street.


    Blacksmith Shop ( #30 on Map )

    - 8:00 PM Acoustic Jam starts every night Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
    No music on Monday.


    Square Dancing ( #65 on Map )

    - Friday evening
    - Saturday afternoon and evening
    - Sunday afternoon and evening
    - Monday afternoon


    Prony Brake ( Northeast of the Church Stand #80 on Map )

    For all Musicians…
    - We are looking for more groups to entertain at the Prony Brake.
    See Russ in the Nelson Exhibition Hall during the show.

    For the General Public…
    - 7:00 PM music is played till the start of the Spark Show Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.


    Gazebo ( located between the Downer School House #53 and Main Street House #52 on Map )

    - Music is played usually all during the day.


    Freeport Building ( #31 on Map )

    - Music is played in this building mainly in the afternoon.


    Downer Church ( #50 on Map )

    For all musicians…
    - Please come in and sign up for 1 hour playing times.

    For the General Public…
    - Friday
    - 10:00 AM till 7:00 PM Gospel and Inspirational Music.
    - 7:30 PM till 9:30 PM Come and join in a music sing along.

    - Saturday
    - 10:00 AM till 5:00 PM Gospel and Inspirational Music.
    - 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM Memorial Service held at the Case Eagle Memorial Wall

    - 7:30 PM till 9:30 PM Come and join in a music sing along.

    - Sunday

    - Church is open for music to be heard but no sound system is set up.

    Great information in your post Karl! :congrats:

    The only thing I see that you can add, and I posted to Tim about this somewhere... Merlyn Meyer told me there is a group playing in the evenings @ Earls Sawmill. They started last year, and had so much fun they are going to continue this year. Could you check it out and edit it into your list?

    - Please come and play, the best times are late mornings or afternoons.
    - Nice big deck to set up on

    For the General Public…
    - Unscheduled and Intermittent
