I was standing by the Red Brake on Saturday looking off to the west.
What is that crossing the tracks?
Could it be?
It is, and its coming our way.
The Eden 28 Minneapolis is coming to the Red Brake to play.
The crew had some work done on the throttle valve and the governor during the off season. Earlier this summer they put it back together. They did some testing on the Red Brake and learned that things still were not right. They took it all apart again and more work was done.
Saturday morning they went to work and put everything back together. Late Saturday afternoon, they came back to the Red Brake.
This time things worked. The engine sounded good and the governor seemed to respond very well. We only went up to about 80 horsepower.
We had a few people stop by and watch. What a great way to end a day on the Hill.
