Some of you know that Dave had an accident a few weeks ago, and while they were fixing him up, they found out he has cancer. He will be having surgery on June 23. His daughter has set up a CaringBridge site, so I will let you read the details there so I don't get it wrong. Please keep Dave and his family in your prayers.

Dave, We are praying for your speedy recovery. Hope you are not only well enough to attend the show but to also feel so good that you get your "work" hours in. We will miss that Ford blue on the shuttles. Hang in there.

Sorry to hear you're under the weather Dave, just want you to know we're thinking of you. Is Dangerboy out there unsupervised? Better get yourself better to keep him out of trouble!

Great to visit with you this past weekend Dave! You look great! Prayers for a speedy recovery from your surgery! I am sure your going to do just fine!

Dave
I am winding down the road with Cancer my self, started around Rollag time last year. I have chemo pills and radiation, surgery, and chemotherapy treatments,
I have one minor surgery to go and more tests, I hope to be Cancer free by Rollag.
Dave, cancer sucks but keep a positive attitude, fight every day, and you can do this

My dad had to get further imaging of his heart prior to surgery and unfortunately his doctor shared that his heart is not healthy enough to proceed with surgery tomorrow. This all came about yesterday/today. This does change the course of treatment unfortunately. However, the oncologist is confident that radiation will take care of the tumor on his lungs. Next week, he will begin the process of preparing for radiation. If radiation doesn't seem to be taking care of the tumor on his lung, then hopefully they can get his heart healthy so it is strong enough to withstand surgery. Good thing there are at least some options on the table. He is a fighter and will beat this one way or the other!

Dave had a procedure this morning, here is the Caring Bridge update from his daughter Tara. Sounds like good news today, hope to see you soon Dave.

Today my dad had an angiogram. They needed to put one stint in his heart. He is doing good and needs to stay the night in the hospital. Currently, he is getting entertained by the grandkids as we speak. Had this procedure not been done, he more than likely would have had a heart attack. Yet again, another reminder of what a blessing that the lawnmower accident has been! If he needs surgery, he will be able to have it due to the repairs of his heart now. They are hopeful that the radiation will take care of his tumor though. At least there are options on the table. He had his first round of radiation yesterday and it went well. Good news for once, through more scans, they are unable to find the spot on his brain. That is amazing and a miracle! They will continue to monitor his brain.
Thank you for your continued prayers, encouragement and support!
